Project P ~ To tell or not to tell 16 June 09Posted by Fantastic Four in Life, Projects.
Tags: why don't you just blurt it out to the whole world
He: Did you tell anyone about the project?
She: Uhm, noone really, well I told only 72 percent of my workmates and my sister, mum, brother, sister-in-law and grandmother.
He: Is that all? *sense the sarcasm here*
She: No, I also wrote a bit on the blog. But only a couple of people read it so, they know.
He: So a whole bunch of people you know and the rest of the world, most of whom you don’t know.
She: I guess if you put it that way, yep.
He: *laughs* You are mental.
She: And you love it!

He: Oh ok.
10 minutes later:
She: Oh my god, that smells so good.
He: *sigh* ok I will add more to the pan.
Half an hour later:
She: I feel sick.
She: Eeeugh. Eeew. No.
He: *taking a bite from his pizza* Mmm this is good, sure you don’t want any?
She: Ok I will have a slice.
4 slices later:
She: I feel very sick.
He: Want me to cook something for you?
She: No I am not hungry yet.
He: Ok, let me know when you are.
She: I don’t think I will ever be.
A little later:
She: *whines* I am starving!!!!!!!!!!!
He: I asked! What would you like, I will make.
She: Nothing, I don’t feel too well.
He: But you just said… Never mind.

And that is Y-O-U

Those who know me whether be in real life or in blogsphere also know that I have monkey appetite when it comes to projects. I have a million of them everyday. Continuing on from my last post, I have a new project, which from now on shall be called “Project P”. Also there are other ones, even though they are not nearly as important, that I am planning.
Also, having self-studied religions and not liked (not liking them is a huge understatement) any of the modern organised religions enough to follow any of them, I am taking an interest in learning about Baha’i Faith. I realised I know nothing about it and knowing nothing about something is like carrying a huge question mark over my head.
Sometimes, I feel people take my lack of faith in organised religion as an offence to their beliefs. I respect people who have faith and are simultaneously nice, gentle, caring people. I have no time for idiots who try to push me or convince me their religion is the best. But some of my best friends believe and follow the path they have chosen or which was chosen for them by birth, which is something I have no problem with.
Ok, now I have breakfast and go to work.
PS: Possible comeback to my blog and reviving it is likely. But change is inevitable.
Motivated? 15 April 09Posted by Fantastic Four in Life, Projects, Random Thoughts on Stuff.

As many will know from my neverending project ideas, I get excited quite often about different things that pop into my mind. Last year I wanted to buy a giant sized map and stick it on my wall to record on it all the places I have been around the world, few months ago I bought a drawing tablet for N to build our own little T-shirt design empire, last week I have been toying about organising a holiday house on the Mediterranean shores of Turkey in 2010 for our family and friends, next week I will contemplate having a child and make it into a gigantic project of collossal proportions, and probably next month I will think of something else to get excited about. I still have lingering thoughts on making my linguistic ramblings into a multi-lingual wonderful blog. Will it happen? Seriously, I think not.
But, to tell you the truth, out of every 100 projects I jot down every day, probably 0.5 of them ever gets to the planning then implementing stage. Why? Because I lose the motivation as soon as the first excitement period is over. Most of the time I actually forget all about the project as soon as I think it. I get distracted by something else.
It seems I can’t stay motivated enough on something no matter how excited or enthusiastic I might be about it.
I want this to change so I came up with a project. I am so excited about it!!!!! Since habits are formed by repeated actions and behaviours, why not make “continuous motivation” a habit. So all I have to do is practice following through with a project. Take it from thought realm into planning phase then implement it and see the results. If I do this long enough it will become a habit and my life will be less cluttered with wonderful ideas which never came to be realised.
That’s all for today.
I will now think about what to start with…
By the way, date on this photo should be something like 2007 not 2004; 2007 my first visit ever to Ireland.

Pope’s Solution to AIDS Problem in Africa 18 March 09Posted by Fantastic Four in Religion.

Pope Benedict XVI , who arrived on Tuesday in Cameroon for his first trip to Africa as pontiff, denounced condom use on the AIDS-ravaged continent, saying there were better ways to combat the disease.
AIDS “is a tragedy that cannot be overcome by money alone, that cannot be overcome through the distribution of condoms, which even aggravates the problems”, the 81-year-old pontiff told reporters on the flight from Rome.
The solution lies in a “spiritual and human awakening” and “friendship for those who suffer”, said Benedict, who will also visit Angola during the weeklong trip.
Arriving in the Cameroonian capital Yaounde, the pope said he was bringing the “Christian message of hope”.

Just dropping condoms in the the hands of the public of course will not solve the problem, but surely with proper education within the communities it would help.
Seriously, I have run out of adjectives to use for Vatican and its clowns. No matter how many letters of apology I get I am not forgiving anymore… That’s it. One can tolerate ignorance only for so long.
